YIN + YANG

This class combines passive Yin yoga with heat building Yang styles for the perfect blend of strength and stretch. Yin is a practice of cultivating stillness & acceptance. Supported postures are held passively for 3-7 minutes, with a focus on the connective tissue to create more space in the body and mind over time. In contrast, Yang involves more active movement and engagement, building more strength, stamina, and flexibility in the muscles.

 

In this practice, seemingly opposite approaches support & regulate each other, and work together to become one.
